Sardine Can 

This sculptural sardine-shaped ring was crafted in sterling silver and designed to be hollow, mimicking the appearance of a sardine half eaten from its can. The body features rib-like details made from tubing, each capped with a tube-set light blue cubic zirconia to capture the shimmering blue sheen of sardine scales. The ring is paired with a handmade brass sardine can, partially opened and designed to serve as a unique display stand. Inspired by memories of fishing with my grandfather, the piece transforms those personal experiences into a playful yet meaningful work.
