Echolocation X Evolution
This necklace and earring set is inspired by echolocation and the way moths evolved long tails to confuse bats. Made from sterling silver and set with feldspar stones, the piece reflects how animals adapt to survive in the dark. The feldspar’s blue shine represents the night sky, connecting to the fact that both bats and moths are nocturnal.
The long, flowing shapes in this set are based on sound waves and movement through the air. They reference how echolocation works and how moths use their tails to disrupt it. By turning this scientific idea into jewelry, I wanted to show the beauty in nature’s problem-solving.
This set is designed as a wearable statement piece for someone who likes bold, clean style. It’s meant for a person dressed in all black—whether going out at night or walking a red carpet. This piece is made for someone who wants something striking, meaningful, and confident.
